The triple whammy of Covid, Brexit and the cost-of-living crisis has hit artists working in the music industry hard. On top of this, some musicians also continue to face barriers of systemic racism and misogyny. With all this in the mix, emerging musicians need our support now more than ever.
London, Summer 2012. In the aftermath of losing Abram, Jennie formed the kernel of an idea for this charity, to continue the work that they had started together. With endless passion, commitment and time, we have grown – from a side hustle, to a full time role, to a small team. As we head towards our 10 year milestone in 2022, we’ve been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to get down to the core of what we need to achieve over the next five years.
