In case you missed the tweet, the PRS for Music Foundation have awarded the Abram Wilson Foundation with £2,000 towards the Philippa Project.

“We are delighted to be supporting the Abram Wilson Foundation with The Philippa Project. We were excited to see a proposal that wanted to combine contemporary jazz music with theatre, and support up and coming UK jazz musicians. This is an innovative, engaging and richly layered project and we are very much looking forward to seeing it realised.” – James Hannam, Senior Manager, Grants

We’re proper chuffed to have the PRS for Music Foundation on board as we make steady progress with our jazz-theatre production inspired by Philippa Schuyler’s life.

We are getting closer to our two week Research and Development phase, which will take place at the beginning of December and we’re particularly excited because it’s going to be the first time we’ll have our director, new composer, cast, and creative team together. Watch this space!

Till soon!

Love
